For thirty-eight years it has been my privilege to be a student of the Bible and of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy. I took up the study of Christian Science for the healing of spinal trouble, which physicians had pronounced incurable. I had been in bed the greater part of two years when Christian Science was presented to me. After being under treatment for almost a year, I was healed not only of the spinal trouble but of several minor difficulties. My healing was slow; but I am grateful for this, as it taught me to overcome certain phases of temperament and disposition. I was benefited physically, mentally, morally, and spiritually. I am profoundly grateful for this healing.

It was my privilege in June, 1926, to be a guest at The Christian Science Benevolent Association sanatorium. It was to me a season of added inspiration and much joy. Words are inadequate to convey what this experience brought to me. The officers and the associates were "one working band," lovingly rendering their thought to the holy, consecrated healing work, which is constantly going on at the Christian Science sanatorium. The healings brought about through the efficacy of Christian Science and its use, as properly applied there, made my stay one never to be forgotten. I wish to thank each one in the service for his or her prayerful cooperation. My gratitude for Christian Science, for all its activities and help, I can best express by living close to God.
