With great gratitude I too wish to give my testimony of healing. For six years I suffered from gallstones, for which I underwent two operations, but all in vain. I also consulted nature healers, who faithfully promised they could heal me, but they too were powerless in the face of my great sufferings. Finally, I could neither eat nor sleep. My condition grew worse and worse, until I could hardly walk. Then I was sent to a sanitarium, where I did gain somewhat in weight, but was not healed.

Later I heard of Christian Science. Somebody lent me a copy of Der Herold der Christian Science, and I immediately had confidence in this teaching. I went to a practitioner and asked for treatment. The textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, was placed in my hands. I studied it earnestly and went to the practitioner a few more times. After a few days I was able to eat, and in five weeks the complaint had completely disappeared.
