I am very grateful for all that Christian Science has done for me. One of my first healings was of the wearing of glasses. I had worn them continuously for four years, but freedom was gained when I read the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. Another healing that stands out was that of influenza. I was very ill indeed, but with the help of a practitioner I spent only a few days in my room, and in two weeks returned to business with no evil after effects.

Many times I have proved Christian Science to be a wonderful protection, when exposed to the weather or to so-called contagious diseases. The fear of heavy colds has been largely overcome, so that I now have very little trouble; and when I do it is quickly overcome. I have also been helped in other ways.

For the consecrated life of our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, I am humbly grateful. For all of her writings, including the Manual of The Mother Church; for all the periodicals; for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church; for class instruction with a loyal teacher; and for many other blessings, too numerous to mention, I am sincerely grateful.
