In 1918 I became very ill, and the ailment developed into pneumonia. A physician who was called in said there was no hope for my recovery, as I was sinking, and it was only a question of a short time before the end would come; but through the earnest and loving help of a Christian Science practitioner, I was completely restored to health. Before I became interested in Christian Science I had undergone two operations, and had been advised to resort to another. When Christian Science was presented to me, I doubted its healing power, but was ready to try anything to find relief. I am grateful to say I was completely healed. My healing did not take place at once, but I never doubted from the moment I entered the practitioner's office that I had found the way of all healing when I accepted Christian Science.

We have had many beautiful healings in our family. My daughter, now over fifteen years of age, has never had a drop of medicine. Ailments to which children are subject have been healed through Christian Science. I also wish to express my gratitude to the dear practitioner for the wonderful help I received during the sudden passing on of my husband. Christian Science has met all our needs, and I am truly grateful.
