I wish to express my gratitude for a wonderful proof of the healing power of Christian Science. In November, 1921, I was taken very ill: I was very badly afflicted with asthma. I could neither sleep, eat, nor lie down, and I could not walk. My condition was so serious that my recovery was doubtful. Then a good friend called my attention to Christian Science. She gave me some reading matter, which I read with great interest. I wrote at once to a practitioner and asked for treatment. I began to improve gradually. The practitioner came to see me several times and gave me treatment. I was not healed quickly, but slowly; however, I continued to improve. Now, thanks be to God, I have been perfectly well for two years. I can do all my work, and have no more difficulty whatever in breathing.

I can truthfully say that I was healed of serious asthma and a chronic cold of many years' standing by Christian Science treatment alone, whereas no doctor had been able to relieve me. I am sincerely grateful to the loving practitioner who so willingly helped me when the darkest hour seemed to have come. I am profoundly grateful for all blessings, and I thank God that He led me to Christian Science.
