Among the Churches
Current Notes
Derby, England (Society).—Able architectural work has changed a house in Derby into church premises. Waterloo House, Harcourt Street, which lies quite close to Unity Hall, has now become the local home of the Christian Science Society. There is a service room, and adjoining are a Reading Room and library. On the first floor is accommodation for the Sunday school and church offices. The building stands in its own grounds. Possession has now been taken by the new occupants.—Derby Daily Express.
Mountain View, California (First Church).—Mountain View will soon have a beautiful new Christian Science church. It is to be built on the corner of Mercy and View Streets. The structure will be colonial in design. The main auditorium is to seat over two hundred, while the Sunday school rooms will accommodate about fifty. There will also be Reading Rooms provided.—San Jose Mercury Herald.
