A Prayer

MARIE STUART TOWNSEND TAYLOR

Father, I know
That day by day,
And hour by hour,
Thou art the Way;
And as I trust
Thy great all-power,
I thus can prove
That Christ is Truth;
That health and strength
And peace and youth
Are but my heritage
From Thee—
Thy bounties, oh! so freely giv'n,
Of happiness and love
And heaven!
