I am deeply grateful to God that Christian Science came into our home when I was a child. It has been a constant help, guide, and protection to me for seventeen years. It has taught me that God is All-in-all.

For ten years I suffered extremely from an internal trouble; and although I studied faithfully and had help from good practitioners, I received no permanent relief. However, I never doubted the Principle of absolute Christian Science, and I knew that the trouble was in my own thought. At last a practitioner told me that sensitiveness was selfishness. I knew then what had been delaying my healing. I had always been very sensitive, but I did not realize that it was selfishness, an evil that must be overcome. My healing came gradually, as I overcame sensitiveness and replaced it with love.

With the help of a dear practitioner our baby was healed of a severe case of eczema in a few treatments. We have had many other healings, of hemorrhages, influenza, rheumatism, and measles. Likewise, resentment and quick temper have been largely overcome. Many financial problems have been solved by seeking "first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness."
