About eleven years ago Christian Science came to me through a dear friend who, perceiving my need of a higher, truer, purer viewpoint on life, gave me two Christian Science pamphlets to read. Through this light I began the study of the Bible and our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and was healed of many discordant conditions of long standing. My right side, from which I had suffered much pain and discomfort for years, responded to two treatments in Christian Science. I was healed of influenza in three days' absent treatment. And I have been benefited in every way through this beautiful truth which makes free. Fear of the elements and the thought of lack have been overcome. My family life has become more harmonious and prosperous. A quick temper has been controlled, and wrong habits of thought are vanishing.

I have had the blessed privilege of becoming a member of a branch church and of The Mother Church, of teaching in the Sunday school and of serving in other church activities. For these and many other blessings I am very grateful to God, to Christ Jesus, to our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, and to the dear practitioners who have so lovingly helped me along the way.

I have also been healed of any desire to drink intoxicants of any kind, to which I had been addicted from childhood. The cigarette habit, after years of bondage, fell before the power of God as taught in Christian Science. Glasses which I had worn for over fifteen years have not been used, or required, in seven years. My husband has become interested and has experienced many healings, among them the healing of profanity, and the desire for drinking. Our home has become ideal. We are prospering in every way; for the protective power of Truth has led us both out of darkness into light. I write this testimony of gratitude that it may help someone struggling as we were to find the way back to the Father's house, the consciousness of Truth and Love!
