In a recent issue of your paper you refer to a lecture on "Christian Science and Christianity." If the lecturer spoke as reported, it is evident to those of us who have studied Christian Science that he does not understand its teachings. He does, however, acknowledge, as must any unbiased person, that Christian Science heals the sick. This healing work is accomplished by the understanding of man's true relationship to God as taught and demonstrated by Jesus the Christ. In his Sermon on the Mount the Master said: "A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit: ... wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them." Christian Science is daily proving by the destruction of sin and sorrow and pain that its teachings are absolutely in line with those of Christ Jesus, and are bringing about the same results.
