Lecturer: Algernon Hervey Bathurst; introduced by Crawford Young, who said:—

Every man, woman, and child wishes to enjoy health and happiness; the whole effort of the world is to obtain an harmonious, happy, healthy existence. Nineteen centuries ago, the Founder of the Christian religion said, "I am the way." That he indeed showed the way of overcoming not only sin but every form of inharmony, was clearly perceived by Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, whose teachings are bringing back primitive Christianity. She healed hopeless organic disease and raised the dying to life and health by the understanding and application of Jesus' teaching that God is the only Life. She not only saw and demonstrated this herself, but set down her perception of this great truth, the Science of Christianity, so that others might perceive and demonstrate it. Through her unfoldment of Jesus' teaching, she has lifted thousands into a happy and harmonious recognition that life is spiritual reality, and that health is spiritual.
