It was three and a half years ago that I became interested in Christian Science, and I have received many blessings. I had suffered more than a year from heart and kidney trouble and an extreme weakness which prevented my sleeping at night, digesting food, or doing the slightest work. I had tried several physicians, but the trouble only increased. Then a lady who had been healed by Christian Science advised me to ask help from a practitioner. Since then God has been my only Physician. I am in perfect health; and I owe it to Christian Science, without which I should probably have passed on long ago. Since I have been studying Christian Science not a single day has passed that I have not been able to do my work. I am busy without ever feeling tired. All the illness that I had are healed. My small daughter, four years old, has also been healed of severe grippe and other sicknesses.

I am deeply grateful to God, to Mrs. Eddy, to the practitioner, and to the one who recommended Christian Science to me.—(Mrs.) Mattie Lavertu, St. David, Maine.

Although I am not yet a Christian Scientist it is with pleasure that I confirm the above testimony. Since my wife's healing we have had many others. Last fall I bought some horses which became very ill; but thanks to the help of a practitioner, to-day they are well.
