Nearly four years ago, when I was very much discouraged, an intimate friend spoke to me of Christian Science.
In the fall of 1916, after experiencing, as I believed, every ill "that flesh is heir to," I gave up religion as found in the denominations I had tried to embrace, and turned to the Bible for comfort, beginning with the New Testament.
About fourteen years ago I became interested in Christian Science.
Eleven years ago I turned to Christian Science for physical healing after spending from three to four years in search of relief through materia medica, electricity, osteopathy; and, lastly, I was under a chiropractic.
In gratitude to God, to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, and to our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for the great blessing of Christian Science, I am sending this testimony with the hope that it may prove helpful to others.
I feel that the time has come for me to testify to the healing power of Christian Science.
For ten years I was an invalid, under the care of various physicians, even going through an operation, hoping it might give relief.
