Since
God is Truth and since God is Life, as the Bible and Christian Science teach, it follows that laws of Truth are laws of Life.
One
of the first sentences in the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs.

his first epistle to the Corinthians, Paul writes, "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able.
When
a great statesman once said, "Law is beneficence acting by rule," he was stating a spiritual fact which humanity has perceived with more or less clarity.
The evangelist whom your paper reports as making the statement, "If you substitute Buddha, or Mary Baker Eddy, or any other religious idol which fails to accept Christ as the Saviour, you are lost," displays an abysmal ignorance of the true teachings of Christian Science.
In a recent issue of your paper you report an address delivered by a clergyman in the Hoylake Congregational Church, in which Christian Science is referred to in terms which indicate a lack of knowledge on this subject on the part of the speaker.
A recent issue of yours carries a sermon, and in this sermon its author attacks Mary Baker Eddy, Christian Scientist.
A recent contributor to your columns avers that Christian Science is a form of demonology; but even a superficial acquaintance with its literature reveals the absurdity of such an assertion, for hypnotism, necromancy, mesmerism, and all the baneful forms of mental control and manipulation, are foreign to Christian Science practice, the carnal mind—from which comes all evil—being excluded as a factor in its purely spiritual theology and therapeutics.

To insure that complete lecture notices be printed in the Sentinel, detailed information should reach the Editorial Department regarding lectures in the United States and Canada, four weeks before the date of the lecture; in Great Britain and Ireland, five weeks before; in other European countries, six weeks before.
It is with a very deep sense of gratitude that I submit my testimony relative to the blessings and experiences which have come to me through Christian Science.
I am glad to return blessings to God for the good which has been given to me through His Science.
I should like to add this testimony of a wonderful healing of blood poisoning to the many others which appear in the Christian Science periodicals.
One Sunday morning a few years ago, I passed a Christian Science church and stopped to converse with a friend who was a student of Christian Science.

I am most grateful for the ever present, ever available, and ever operative law of God, as taught in Christian Science.
Thank God for Christian Science! My little boy's healing is a wonderful proof that God does heal.
In thinking over experiences since taking up the study of Christian Science, I am indeed grateful for benefits received.
