All my life I had wanted to be converted and saved like other people, but never seemed to get what I was looking for! I was told I was looking too high; but through the study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I am being led into the light, and have the satisfaction of knowing my prayers are being answered by a better understanding of what God is, and of man in His image and likeness.

Before taking up the study of Christian Science, I was constantly under the care of a physician, who told me I should have to have a second operation performed before I could be any better. When he gave me the last bottle of medicine I laughed and said, "If this does not heal me I will try Christian Science," as I had read a little about it. He said Christian Science could not help me as my side was in too bad a condition. Now, four and a half years after my healing in Science, I am in better health than I had been for years before; nor do I have to wear a support as he said I should.

I wrote to a dear practitioner, who told me to come to see her. I shall never forget the joy and relief I experienced as she talked to me and explained that I did not have to lose my baby, as the physician had said. I am happy to say I passed the ordeal nicely and have a strong, healthy, lovely boy, now four years old. He has never taken a drop of medicine.
