After reading and studying Christian Science for seven years, I can truthfully and gratefully say that the application of the Christ, Truth, as taught in the Bible and in the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, does heal.

When a child I was told that I had inherited two diseases, called hay fever and eczema. I was not permitted to sit out in the night air during the hay-fever season. Later my work, that of teaching, necessitated the use of the crayon, and I went to school with both hands bandaged to keep the crayons from irritating the skin. Both local and internal remedies were used, and I spent nearly all my vacations seeking relief at health resorts.

Later I married a physician and was able to take treatments from specialists, including X-ray for the skin trouble, but found only temporary relief. About seven years ago a great sorrow seemed to come over me, and I was persuaded to take up the study of Christian Science. Here I learned the real meaning of inheritance; that since God is my Father-Mother and God is good, I could inherit, or come into possession of, only that which is good. I learned that since God is divine Mind and Mind is good, I could inherit only the ability to think good thoughts. A firm realization of my true inheritance as a child of God brought healing, not only of my sorrow, but of the two diseases. I am indeed grateful for these healings.
