I want to testify that God does heal now through the Christ, Truth, just as He did when Christ Jesus was here on earth. When I was about two years of age, I began to lose my hearing, and for eight years was totally deaf. Three of the best specialists said I would never hear again. A dear Christian Science practitioner, who had moved near and was using our telephone, told me there was no need to be deaf, that God would heal me if I wanted Him to, and if I would get all sin out of my heart. I had always believed in divine healing, and had prayed earnestly for four years for this healing, but to no avail. So I was ready to try Christian Science. The practitioner worked for me, and I read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy; and in two weeks I awoke one morning able to hear. I shall never forget how frightened I was, and how very, very happy. My hearing continues to improve; for which I am very grateful.

I do not understand much of Christian Science, but am grateful for the better understanding of God which it has given me, and that a dear practitioner came our way; for the love I now have for the Bible; and for the sweet peace and joy which the world cannot give. Also, I am grateful that God sent to us this dear woman, another Mary, with this glorious message of Love, Life, and Truth.
