A deep sense of gratitude urges me to testify to the wonderful power of God's love as revealed to me in Christian Science. At the birth of my child I clearly recognized this wonderful truth. When error attacked me and I was nearly desperate with pain, I asked a dear practitioner for help, which was lovingly given. I soon became quieter, and the pains ceased altogether. I held constantly to the thought that for me, as a child of God, there was only harmony. If I began to grow impatient, I knew that as the image of God I could reflect only patience and strength, and this thought calmed me. The birth was entirely harmonious. The midwife and nurse said over and over again that they had never seen anything like it. I often cheered both of them and admonished them to be patient. Christian Science meant very much to me in the weeks that followed. A great deal of fear was expressed by those around me because my sister-in-law, who also had a little one, was confined to her bed for weeks with high fever.
I cannot be grateful enough to God for this great proof of His love, as well as for many other demonstrations and blessings which have proved to me that "one with God is a majority." I realize more and more every day what it means to have found the truth. It is my most earnest endeavor to learn more and more of Christian Science.—(Mrs.) Olga Liebisch, Kew Gardens, Long Island, New York.
