a Christian Scientist reads the inscription, "Church of Christ, Scientist," on what we are wont to call a "church edifice," he may well pause to consider the long chain of loving thought, constructive effort, and spiritual activity which has brought about the result now apparent to physical sense.
The
world's search for wisdom never ceases; but it will never attain its goal while searching in matter, because wisdom cannot be found in the beliefs of mortal mind.
O Love
divine, whose tenderness no earth-born voice can tell,In every need I turn to Thee, and in Thy fullness dwell; The human heartache, fear, and pain, that seem so real to me,Must vanish at the healing thought of Love's infinity.
Charles W. J. Tennant, District Manager of Committees on Publication for Great Britain and Ireland,
The utterances on spiritual healing by a clergyman, appearing in your recent issue, are interesting, but his remarks on Christian Science need correction.

An Associated Press dispatch from Cincinnati, in your recent issue, is of unnsual interest, at least to Jews and to Christian Scientists, as it reports that "cognizance of the power of mental suggestion to heal some cases of illness was taken for the first time by rabbis attending the thirty-sixth annual convention of the Central Conference of American Rabbis," which adopted a resolution appointing a committee to determine just how far mental healing is compatible with the Jewish religion.
It has been found desirable to exchange the dates of the Dutch and French translations of the religious article in The Christian Science Monitor scheduled for the week of April 12, so that the Dutch will appear on April 12 and the French on April 16.
To insure that complete lecture notices be printed in the Sentinel, detailed information should reach the Editorial Department regarding lectures in the United States and Canada, four weeks before the date of the lecture; in Great Britain and Ireland, five weeks before; in other European countries, six weeks before.
Christian Science was presented to me in Paris, France, in a time of distress, when I was living far from my native country and believing in distance and separation.
In reading the testimonies of healing in The Christian Science Journal and Christian Science Sentinel I have thought many times that I have had many things to be grateful for, and that I should add my testimony to those given.
Articles from members of The Mother Church and good testimonies from those healed by Christian Science are always welcomed for consideration by the Editors.
