Jesus said, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." These words meant much to me when I attended my first Christian Science service. It seemed to me that I had been laboring under more heavy burdens than any one. This service was like suddenly entering the glorious sunlight after being in a dark room for years.

I have been healed of muscular rheumatism after being in a wheel chair for five years with more than a dozen physicians and specialists saying that if the pain left, the muscles would harden. A severe internal injury, resulting from an accident, was overcome, as well as a very alarming condition of organic trouble after I was told that I had only a few days to live unless benefited by an operation, and that even then I would never walk. I was also healed of heart trouble, bronchitis, appendicitis, and stomach trouble with its attendant fear of eating. Glasses which had been worn for eleven years were laid aside, and many other false claims have dropped away, some quickly, others slowly.

I am grateful for all these physical healings, but more grateful for the regeneration that is taking place in my consciousness, and to know that we can be lifted from the depths of despair to this rest and peace. I am grateful to Mrs. Eddy for the understanding she has given us of what God really is, and for the Christian Science literature. I have not words to express my gratitude to all who have helped me.
