With a grateful heart I wish to testify to the beneficial results of Christian Science. After I had suffered severe pain for three years and a physician had diagnosed the trouble as a very serious abdominal complaint, lumps as big as my fist formed after I had had injections. As no physician could give me relief, I was to undergo an operation on April 14, 1925. But "man's extremity is God's opportunity." On April 9, I heard of Christian Science. We turned at once to a Christian Science practitioner, who lovingly gave me treatment. After the first treatment I noticed an improvement, so that I gave up the physician altogether. The fever and pain disappeared in a few days. About six weeks later I was perfectly well.

Owing to a fall which I experienced in the woods, another serious difficulty became manifest; but in this case too, a kind practitioner gave me treatment; so that in three days I was completely healed. Few can imagine how grateful I was when the error was cast out and the wound was healed.

Christian Science has made us joyous people. We thank God with our whole hearts for the blessings we have experienced. Our thanks are also extended to the kind practitioner, as well as to all who have helped me. I am also sincerely grateful to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for the wonderful book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." It gives us the true understanding of God's ever present love.
