It is over seven years since I applied for Christian Science treatment. At that time I was suffering from neuritis, and was under the care of a doctor, who expressed the opinion that I would never be well. The only relief was obtained through taking morphine, all other material methods having failed.

I then turned to Christian Science for physical healing only, not realizing that it was based on immutable Principle, God. I telephoned a practitioner; and I shall never forget what a beautiful demonstration it was, for in one treatment I was healed. Through reading and studying the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, our beloved Leader, to whom this truth was revealed. I found that the ever present power of divine Principle, Love, is ready to care for us whenever we abide by the rules given, and that God is indeed the only healing power, giving surcease to all erroneous conditions.

A short time ago one of our boys was seized during the noon hour with severe pains in his head and stomach. A Christian Science practitioner was called, and in less than three hours he was out playing. Our youngest boy was healed of whooping cough, sore throat, earache, and of a severe case of scarlet fever in a very short time. I am particularly thankful for the privilege of having the children attend the Christian Science Sunday School, where they gain an understanding of the truth.
