It is with a heart overflowing with gratitude that I give this testimony of the blessings received through Christian Science.

I had been very ill for ten years, suffering an intestinal trouble, the result of an operation. during all these years I resorted to many doctors, herbalists, and remedies. I was constantly on a diet, but in spite of all the care received I suffered severely and spent many nights weeping, while my condition only grew worse. In 1922 an acquaintance spoke to me of Christian Science, and I did not hesitate to make a study of the book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and to ask for help. I felt an improvement at once; but the complete healing was slow, and very often I had to cling steadfastly to divine Love to overcome difficulties. My perseverance has been rewarded; for now I am in perfect health and can work all day without pain or weakness. My thought is being transformed, and I can without ceasing say with the Psalmist, "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits."

I am also grateful I feel that I am making progress in other ways: my character is improving; I am more patient; and I love my neighbor better. The Bible has also become a precious book to me, for I understand it better.
