It is an ever increasing joy to me to know the truth about-God and His creation that Christian Science teaches. Recently I attended a lecture on current events, and was appalled at the sinister forebodings it presented. However, with a growing understanding of the ever present God, good, I could see the false nature of the discord in the world to-day, due to lack of clear thinking and right activity. I rejoice that the teachings of Christian Science are giving me a sure foundation on which to build.

I thank God, and am grateful for the problems that come to me. Mrs. Eddy says in our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 66), "Trials are proofs of God's care." I wish to give thanks for my first healing, seven years ago, of the need of glasses, and for a certain and sure sense of God's protecting care in an automobile accident at a later date. My blessings are too numerous to mention. I am very grateful for the privilege and joy of church membership.
