Evidently our critic fails to comprehend the teachings of Christian Science in respect to the personality of God. Christian Science definitely holds, even as did Jesus, that God is Spirit and "they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." At no time does the Master indicate that we should worship God as a person possessing a finite form and figure. The Scriptures also refer to God as the infinite One, and further describe Him as Life, Truth, and Love. Since God is infinite, He must be infinite Person; therefore the term "person," when used in connection with Deity, takes on the meaning of infinite individuality. According to the teachings of Christian Science, Life, Truth, and Love constitute the individuality of the infinite Person, called God.
