I want to tell of my healing of hay fever, from which I had suffered every summer for years. One Wednesday evening I attended a testimony meeting; and the calm and peace which I felt during the silent prayer will never be forgotten. Then a gentleman told of his healing of hay fever; and instantly the thought came to me that if he was healed, I too could be. I accepted it without a doubt, and was healed that night.

After reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I was soon enabled to remove glasses, although one of the best optometrists in New York city had told me this could never be done. The Bible had always been a loved book to me, but was not understood until Science and Health opened it for me. The spiritual unfoldment means far more to me than the physical healing. To say I am grateful but faintly expresses my gratitude for all my blessings. I shall ever be grateful to God for the testimony of that man, and for directing me to church that evening. I am so thankful to be living in this age when, in the fullness of time, this new-old truth was revealed to a hungering world through that noble woman, Mrs. Eddy.
