[Written for the Sentinel]

"There should be time no longer"

O man, yield not to time's decree;
Bow not before the passing years;
No law demands your bended knee—
Only your fears.

All wisdom, usefulness, and power
Belong to Mind, and with us stay;
They bide more than a passing hour—
Go not away.

Your Life is God. Arise and see.
You in His likeness are complete;
Time is a phantom; you are free;
Stand on your feet.

So, fear not passing day and night;
Fear not the phantoms you behold;
They vanish always with the light—
So grow not old.
