I have had many proofs, in the past eight years, of the healing power of Christian Science. One of these was a recent healing of bleeding piles and paralysis of the bowels. I worked, as we are taught in Christian Science, trying to realize man's perfect state of being, but when at the end of a week it had not yielded, I asked for help from a practitioner. One evening while working and studying over the problem, I opened our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and began to read. In a short time the illusion was broken, and a complete and perfect healing resulted. I am extremely grateful for the freedom from a terrible sense of fear and bondage, also for much purification and spiritualization of thought, which came to me during this period. Through Christian Science I have been healed of typhoid-pneumonia, of catarrhal colds and throat trouble, headaches, sore eyes, and astigmatism which necessitated the wearing of glasses, also of many other false beliefs.

For all these healings I am truly grateful to God; to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower; to our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy; to the dear, faithful practitioners, and to all who have so lovingly helped me along the way.
