Some years ago, in an athletic contest, my right thumb was badly dislocated. Christian Science was suggested by a member of the family, and in a few days with a practitioner's help the finger became perfectly normal again. Since that time, through the study of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" and the other writings of our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, and the loving help of practitioners, many healings have been experienced and the blessings of the new-old truth have continued to multiply. A severe eye trouble was instantaneously healed and glasses were discarded; chronic colds, fear, discouragement, the tobacco habit, a growth in the nose, and minor troubles have also been overcome.

This religion is teaching me what is my right relation to my fellow-men and what is true business; and this knowledge is freeing me from a false sense of business competition and supply. For these many beautiful proofs of the efficacy of Christian Science to meet all of mankind's needs, I am most humbly grateful to God and to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
