One morning when I awoke my face was inflamed and swollen. The next day the trouble was much worse, but I attended to my duties. I was in bed the following week, suffered great pain constantly, and was delirious most of the time. This trouble is called erysipelas by physicians, and sometimes proves fatal if there is delirium with it. The disease went through the usual states and stages, but a loving, faithful practitioner of Christian Science was in constant attendance, with the result that the disease was completely healed at the end of the week, leaving no scars or ill effects whatever, and not even the usual weakened condition attendant upon this trouble. I am as strong and well as before the experience.

I am deeply grateful for this healing, and most grateful to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for her faithfulness in presenting this truth to a weary world.
