I wish to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for us. In the year 1922 our nine-year-old daughter became ill with pleurisy. The illness had affected the heart, and the doctor had given up all hope. Through friends we then heard of Christian Science, and at once called a loving Christian Science practitioner. An improvement set in after the first treatment; and after about six months the child was completely healed. In July, 1922, a son was born to us. When the baby was five weeks old, the doctor told me the child suffered from umbilical hernia. I at once had him treated in Christian Science; and in five weeks he was healed.

We are very grateful to Christian Science, to the loving practitioner, and to our dear God; and it is our desire that many oppressed people may turn to this teaching.
