Christian Science has been the greatest blessing in my life. I heard of it at a time when I was passing through what seemed to be a great sorrow and felt as if every door were closed against me: I did not know what to do. Through the reading of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy I was soon healed of the thought of death and separation. Realizing God as Life, I found there is no death, no loss; and this was a great help to me. I was left with an insolvent business, which was a very difficult one and of which I had practically no knowledge. Through realizing that God is intelligence, and that God's man reflects this intelligence, I was able to conduct this business successfully; and I shall never forget the wonderful experience I had during this time by realizing and leaving all to God's guidance. This also taught me that supply is spiritual, and does not depend on any person; and I proved the truth of Mrs. Eddy's statement (Science and Health, p. 494), "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need."

I had suffered with my eyes ever since I was seven years old. I was troubled with very severe headaches and pain at the back of both my eyes; and at one time had to lie in a darkened room for days. My eyes were tested by a Manchester specialist, who told me I had acute inflammation of a certain part of the eye, and that it was so defaced I should never see well again. With the loving help of a Christian Science practitioner I experienced a complete healing; and on going to the specialist the second time I was told my eyes were healed. I can read or sew for hours now without any discomfort; and my sight is better than it has ever been.

For all these blessings I am truly grateful; but for the joy and peace and harmony which the unfolding of Truth, as taught in Christian Science, is bringing into my life every day I am more grateful still. I am grateful for the Sunday school, where my children are being taught this healing truth; also for the blessing of class instruction, which has been to me a wonderful revelation.
