On page 107 of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, the author writes, "In the year 1866, I discovered the Christ Science or divine laws of Life, Truth, and Love, and named my discovery Christian Science." The complete statement of the teachings of Christian Science is contained in this textbook, and to-day through a study of the Bible in conjunction with this book people are finding themselves enabled to put the teachings of Christ Jesus into practice in their work and everyday life. Christian Science is meeting the great craving in the hearts of men to-day for an understandable explanation of God. It has nothing in common with spiritualism or theosophy.
