The Lectures
Los Angeles, Calif . (Third Church).—The following introductory remarks were made by Mrs. Rachel Goss Deyo at a Christian Science lecture by Mrs. Blanche K. Corby:—

At this point a relative briefly explained Christian Science to me, and read a little from the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. Then I did what the Bible admonished us to do. I took the little book, and did "eat it up;" and it was "sweet" because I found the living truth that comforted me.
Pietermaritzburg, Natal, South Africa (First Church).—Miss A. Bertha Conyngham made the following remarks prefatory to a Christian Science lecture by Dr. Walton Hubbard:—
