I should like to express my gratitude for what Christian Science...

I should like to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me and mine, and for all mankind; and for what we know it will do. I am grateful to have been led into this beautiful truth, and grateful for the good that it has been my privilege to enjoy. Through study, and with the loving help of practitioners, many sinful beliefs have been overcome, much inharmony cast out, and a fuller understanding of God and His goodness has taken its place. Christian Science has healed me of the smoking habit, although to me and to a great many others it had seemed that only a miracle could do this. It has healed me of the need of wearing glasses, of constipation, and of much irritableness and impatience. Each day is truly rich with blessings, and it is impossible to tell all of them. Divine Mind is ever present, has all power, and is willing and ready to help and save us from all our fears and woes.

Christian Science has been my only physician; it has made me realize to a greater extent that God is my All. It has made me a better man morally and physically, and it has helped me financially; it has given me higher desire and a more unselfish viewpoint. It is indeed my desire to be able to live and feel the depth of the word "gratitude," that I may so live that I too may reflect more of the Christ-spirit, which heals and saves, and to love my neighbor as myself, through having "no other gods."

I wish to express gratitude for the faithful help of practitioner; for the Reading Rooms, the literature, and the beautiful church services,—all the many opportunities prepared for us by our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.
