Before coming into Christian Science, twelve years ago, I was in bondage to terrible headaches that would last for four days, during which time my temperature would rise as high as one hundred and four degrees. I suffered intensely from nervousness and a malady which several doctors and an operation had failed to heal. At that time I was unable to lift any weight, and had to wear my clothing suspended from my shoulders. Life indeed had become a burden; for aside from the agony of my own sufferings, my home was unhappy because of my inability to care for it or for my husband and our little children.

At this time I turned to Christian Science; and just by reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I was completely and permanently healed of all these diseases. Since my healing our three children have been reared in Christian Science. All chronic and acute diseases in my entire family have been quickly and permanently overcome by the faithful application of Christian Science; and our home has been transformed into one of happiness, health, and prosperity. It has been my privilege, through the understanding of Christian Science, to see many chronic, acute, and some so-called fatal diseases fade into their native nothingness. While the physical blessings have been manifold, the higher understanding of God and His spiritual universe is the blessing for which I am most grateful. Each day unfolds new and higher views of God and His relation to man, His image and likeness.
