The knowledge that God governs man and that there is no other power than God, applied as we are taught in Christian Science, has met my every need for the past six years. Diseases have been proved to be nothing, and the everyday problems of place, supply, and relationships with other persons have been solved.

When I had my first Christian Science treatment I had been suffering for a number of years from a digestive poisoning condition. Although I followed a rigid diet and took medicine every few hours, I was constantly under a sense of pain and fatigue. Within one month's time I was completely healed of this condition, and had also laid aside glasses, which I had worn constantly since a small child. I have never had a drop of medicine since my first Christian Science treatment; and whereas, previously, I had been accustomed to long periods of illness, since taking up the study of Christian Science I have spent only one day in bed. At that time what appeared to be a serious attack of influenza was healed in a few hours, and I was able to take up my work the following day.

On one occasion I experienced an accident in an automobile. During the few minutes when it was difficult to realize consciousness, I clung to the knowledge of God as the sole governing power; and in spite of an appearance of crushed and bleeding flesh, I was able to go directly to the hall where it was my duty to speak before several thousand persons. None of them knew of the incident; and within a few hours no mark of it remained.
