Christian Science does not accept modern applied psychology; for the teaching of this psychology is based upon the beliefs and operations of the human mind. The true psychology which Christian Science teaches is the Science of Spirit, God. It is impossible through the use of modern applied psychology to understand the allness of the divine Mind, God. This difference alone proves its unlikeness to Christian Science, which relies solely on communion with God, the divine Mind, for revelation, and applies the laws of God to the false beliefs of the so-called human mind, and thus destroys them. A system which deals with "principles" is not in harmony with the system which teaches one infinite, eternal, unchangeable, divine Principle, as does Christian Science. In the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mrs. Eddy writes on page 456, "Whoever affirms that there is more than one Principle and method of demonstrating Christian Science greatly errs, ignorantly or intentionally, and separates himself from the true conception of Christian Science healing and from its possible demonstration."
