My deep-felt gratitude for all the blessings which my family and I have received through Christian Science I can only express in the words of the Psalmist, "O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever." When Christian Science found me seven years ago, I was in a disconsolate state of worry and mental depression. My husband had been called to the colors and sent to the front. In the meantime our business was at a standstill. Through Christian Science treatment and attending the church services I soon learned to understand that God is the source of all supply. Our needs were met in the most beautiful way. Through divine protection my husband was wonderfully preserved, and returned quite well. Through the providence of divine law he soon was able to resume his professional duties. We have learned that God constantly gives us our supply, and that the more grateful we are for the good already received, the more blessings we shall receive.

Last year, when we were engaged in unloading hay, our son had an accident. In jumping from the loft on to a load of hay, he struck a pitchfork, which stood up vertically, and the prongs penetrated deep into his side. We at once asked a Christian Science practitioner for treatment, which was lovingly given. The first night the boy was somewhat restless; but when the practitioner again declared the truth for him, he visibly grew better. There was neither fever nor inflammation, and the healing progressed rapidly. The wounds were healed in a short time, and the boy has remained healthy to this day. It would take too much space to recount all the cases where Christian Science, through the help of a practitioner, has brought us spiritual and physical relief.

Our hearts are filled with love and gratitude to God. We are grateful that our children have the privilege of attending the Christian Science Sunday School, and are bringing home more and more harmony and love. We are indebted to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for having given us Christian Science; for through it God is revealed as Love and all-power, and we recognize that man cannot be separated from God.
