For all the blessings I have received since taking up the study of Christian Science I am most grateful to God; to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower; and to Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science.

One demonstration for which I am grateful is the painless birth of my baby, as a result of Christian Science treatment. The baby had a large lump on the side of the head, deformed ears, and bowel trouble, which were readily overcome through Christian Science treatment; and the baby, now a little over a year and a half old, has never been sick or taken a drop of medicine, and is considered a remarkable child.

Before learning of Christian Science I was a complete nervous wreck through loss of sleep, and was scarcely able to hold a position. I did not know what it was to smile; in fact, it seemed impossible, as I was always melancholy and felt like crying continually. This condition has gradually left me, and I have never been happier or healthier in my life than I am now. I remember that while in this mood I prayed to God most fervently to show me the way to get rid of the terrible depressed feeling, as I was indeed most miserable and life to me was not worth living. Very shortly after this ardent prayer I was divinely led to take up the study of Christian Science, with the foregoing result. I have been benefited many times during my business career by the application of Christian Science.
