I wish to submit the following testimony of my healing, which took place through the application of the teachings of Christian Science. About fourteen years ago, a small growth appeared on my left leg just below the knee. Very little attention was paid to it, for it seemed so insignificant at the time and I thought it would soon pass away; but it did not. It assumed larger proportions from year to year, annoyed me considerably, and was an ever increasing hindrance to me in doing my work. I sought healing from many physicians, but did not find it. Their examinations, diagnoses, and predictions were numerous and decidedly varied. There was no semblance of agreement among the physicians except upon two points, namely, that the trouble was a bone rupture and the remedy a surgical operation. I did not have the operation performed, but allowed the matter to drift along until August, 1919, at which time, accidentally, my leg came into contact with a sharp snag projecting from the limb of a tree, causing a much aggravated and inflamed condition to appear. Then a great fear grasped me that I might need to have the leg amputated.

Some time previous my wife had become interested in and was the grateful beneficiary of the healing power of Truth as revealed in the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. With proof after proof before me as to the efficacy of this method of healing the sick, I also investigated the subject, and engaged a Christian Science practitioner to assist me. In a few treatments I was fully restored to health, and have remained so to this day through the sustaining power of the truth as taught in this wonderful book.

My prayer is that this testimony may lead some weary one to find what I have found, and that is Christian Science. I am thankful to God, the Father; to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower; and to Mrs. Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science.—Frank M. Hilton, Akron, Ohio.
