For many years I suffered from an ulcerated stomach. I was operated upon, and then dieted for about two years. Later, a hemorrhage weakened me so much that the doctor would no longer answer for my life, and kept urging me to receive a transfusion of blood; but to this I was always opposed. At this critical time, when it was thought that I was at the end of my earthly life, a relative who had had two members of her family healed by Christian Science—to the great astonishment of the doctor—encouraged me to seek help from this source. My sister wrote to the practitioner, who began to treat me at once, and sent me "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," that splendid volume by Mary Baker Eddy. My health began to improve immediately; and day by day my strength returned. After several weeks I was able to take up my work again. I no longer follow any special diet, and I keep in very good health. I testify to having been healed by Christian Science.
