With great joy and gratitude I wish to give this testimony to make known what Christian Science has done for me and for my children. My daughter was suffering from what the doctors called ulceration of the axillary gland and lymphangitis. She had been operated upon twice in the children's hospital, but there was no improvement. The ulcers would reappear on some other spot. When the doctor wanted to operate a third time, we felt very much alarmed. In the meantime I had heard of Christian Science healing. After reading a Christian Science Herald, my daughter asked us to let her try Christian Science. I went with her to a practitioner, who lovingly gave her treatment. It was a revelation for all of us, and gave us an understanding of God's omnipotence and power. The ulcers opened by themselves and then disappeared, leaving no trace; and no new ulcer has appeared.

My son also has been healed in Christian Science. From his fifth year on he was always sickly. He very often suffered from rheumatism in the joints, which in time affected the heart; he often complained of sharp pain in the heart, so that he could not go to school. All this has been changed. He can now do gymnastics as he never could before, and does not feel any of the old complaints. He joyfully goes to Sunday school to learn more and more of Truth.

I myself have also received many blessings through Christian Science. I suffered for many years from very bad headaches, and am now perfectly free from them. For two years I suffered from discordant family conditions. I have learned through Christian Science that all suffering and sorrow is caused solely by the belief of a life separate from God; but through the light of Truth we can recognize such trials as unreal, and thus come nearer to God. I also know now that God is the source of all supply, and that He gives only what is good. We need only to understand it and make it our own.
