No adherent of the Christian Science religion could consistently be an adherent of the new-thought movement. The latter, like all modes of mental suggestion, is based upon the belief in many minds and in the power of one mind over another; while Christian Science teaches that there is but one Mind, infinite and divine, called God, even that Mind which, according to the Scriptures, "was also in Christ Jesus."
