I have relied on Christian Science for about ten years

I have relied on Christian Science for about ten years. It has helped me physically, morally, and financially, and has never failed me when I have abided strictly by its rules, as found in our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. We, that is, our family, have had many beautiful proofs of God's healing and protecting power.

My little daughter, who is now eight years old, was born in Christian Science, and has never had any material remedies. Last fall she was vaccinated in order to comply with the law. At first she did not quite like going to a doctor, as she had never been to one; but I told her that it was right to obey, and that nothing could harm her. Everything went well until about the tenth day, when her arm seemed to be quite swollen and inflamed. She said the teacher and children at school had looked at it and said it would be sore and painful. When she came home she asked me if she could call a practitioner. After she had talked with her, the child's face was radiant. She said, "Mother, the practitioner called me God's little sunbeam; and she said that God's sunbeam could not reflect anything unlike Him." In about a week her arm was healed, and it never gave her any more trouble after her talk with the practitioner. She was also healed of measles in three days, except for a cough, and that was destroyed in a short time. I was very grateful for the loving help given me to destroy the fear in my own thought, and to realize the nothingness of disease. I have always considered this a very beautiful healing.

My husband is interested in this truth, and has had several healings. Recently he asked a practitioner for help in his business. Everything worked out well, and he feels very grateful for the help he received. He was so happy that he was able to pay his bills. He said that his success was due to the help he had had in Christian Science.
