Among the Churches

Current Notes

Ocala, Fla. (Society).—The Christian Science church, just completed on the corner of South Third and Wautula Streets, is not the most costly in the city, but it can claim the credit for being unique and the prettiest. It does not house the largest congregation, but none are more loyal and enthusiastic. Every member, since the beginning of its construction, has worked with might and main towards its completion and beautification. The spacious grounds have been cleared of debris, and are going to be transformed into a garden of loveliness. If a "thing of beauty is a joy forever," then the little Christian Science church, hedged about with palms, shrubbery, and flowers, will enjoy this distinction.—Ocala Banner.
