About eighteen years ago, gratitude for a wonderful healing through Christian Science prompted me to send my testimony to the Christian Science Sentinel. It has been my privilege to raise three children according to the teachings of this truth, who do not know the taste of drugs, the youngest of the three having gone through both grammar and high school without missing a day. It is possible to escape the ills of the flesh and attain one's true dominion, if we follow the teachings of Christ Jesus and need the admonitions of our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, who has left us a priceless legacy in her works and the Christian Science periodical literature. For three days he could not move without great suffering. At the end of this period, pain, fever, and swelling suddenly disappeared. Just one week from the day he arrived home (on crutches) he was mowing the grass. Needless to say, no material remedy was resorted to, though fear of infection from an injured toe was voiced by several friends.
Gratitude for the many blessings that have come to us makes me desire to pray with Mrs. Eddy (Poems, p. 12):—
