Christian Science explains the difference between Spirit...

Portland News

Christian Science explains the difference between Spirit (God) and matter, which is Spirit's opposite; between ideas, which are spiritual, and beliefs, phenomena that are material; and in this way it exposes the fact that many phenomena which other systems erroneously classify as spiritual, are only manifestations of the so-called human mind, mortal, material, and erring in their nature, rather than having the eternal characteristics of true spirituality. Outside of Christian Science, which gives no reality or power to aught that is unlike God, all theories of religion and philosophy, all so-called natural science, are based, partly if not wholly, upon belief in the reality of matter and of the so-called human or mortal mind. Any process of healing, therefore, which is based on the physical body and the phenomena of the human mind is not at all like Christian Science.
