About three years ago a lump appeared on the lower lid of my eye that was very noticeable and caused me much inconvenience. When the swelling appeared, I immediately began, as I thought, to know the truth; but the condition continued for several weeks, and grew worse. Then I began to examine my thought very thoroughly, and found that I was resenting this condition. Then the thought came to my rescue that resentment is a very fertile soil for error to thrive in. I found that this resentment was the root of the trouble; and when the root was uncovered and destroyed the branch withered away, for in about three days there was no sign of the swelling left. Another instance where resentment worked havoc was when I was in bondage to continued colds, with cold sores and red nose. Each time I resented it more and more, until I was indeed in almost hopeless bondage to this belief and became weak and frail; but through the help of a Christian Science practitioner, and the continued study and application of the truth, as I gained it from Mrs. Eddy's writings, I have been entirely freed from this condition and have no longer any fear of colds. For this deliverance I could not begin to say how grateful I am.

I have experienced and witnessed innumerable proofs of the healing power of Truth as taught in Christian Science. It has made me love the Bible, and its pages are illumined. I am most grateful for class instruction and for the privilege of helping my fellow-man out of bondage into liberty—our God-given heritage.
