I am thankful to God for Christian Science, to Mrs. Eddy for giving this Science to the world, and to kind practitioners for their love and patience in bringing this Science to me and mine. I, too, like the woman spoken of in Mark, had "suffered many things of many physicians" for several years, "and was nothing bettered," when Christian Science found me. My trouble was chronic asthma and bronchitis, which had disabled me for work of any kind for several years. I was slow in receiving, or regaining, full health, and had many recurrences of the old trouble; but with the help of practitioners, and the constant study of the Bible in connection with "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I am to-day a strong man and able to do heavy farm work.

Where we live we are comparatively alone in regard to Science, as most of our neighbors are opposed to what they think Christian Science is; but we have the Bible, Science and Health, and the Quarterly, and ofttimes we are able to demonstrate health and harmony over disease and discord.
